3 Organics You Shouldn’t Use on your hair

Growing hair can be really stressful especially your natural kinky. Best advice I would be giving this year is to stay on low-cut as a girl, life is never too deep.

Even though I might not even take that advice because yes, your girl is keeping her hair now but I might still cut it because like I said life is never too deep, I literally hate making my hair.

Maintenance hair is really stressful, time consuming and expensive but we have to do what we got to do. Same way there are different skin type that is the same way there are different hair type and stucture. Some people might have strong hair, while some might have really soft hair, people with soft hair often reacts to products a lot. Using of organic products have become the new trend which I must say is really impressive. I have used a couple of products for my hair but not all organics that is said to be good for the hair is actually good for the hair.

CHEBE POWDER.

No one is talking about how bad this powder is for the hair, people who make organic products for hair should literally stop adding it. Chebe powder (Croton gratissimus), Chebe in Chad. If you are opportune to grow up in Nigeria, you would have seen all those chad women with long hair selling it.

When you buy chebe powder it is advisable to rub it on the strands of your hair as a mask and not the scalp, else your hair would pull. It is also advisable to mix the chebe with essential oils and water to lessen the effect.

Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly

Vaseline contains petroleum and mineral oil. Sometimes, people say it’s good to massage you scalp with vaseline, it suffocates your pores. It hinders your skin from breathing and when your scalp can’t breathe, hair wouldn’t grow.

Retinol

Retinol, also also known as vitamin A. It is good for the skin and primarily used to soften skin, treat anti-aging, as well as acne problems. However, retinol or vitamin A shouldn’t be used for the hair. It could lead to dryness of scalp and then you begin to scratch excessively, you’d start to lose hair.

Most times people buy already made organic hair products but I think it is better to make your organic products via homemade, there you know the right amount to work with.
